Its hard to believe that it is already 2012. The time has gone by so fast! With the change to 2012, we have updated our rates on our motel page. Good news! We didn't raise any of the peak summer rates! Winter is very different in Door County than summer. One of the obvious differences to us is that Julie's Park Cafe and Motel is closed. This means that winter is a time to relax and reflect. While we relax and reflect on the previous year, we are also planning for the next. We also take time to enjoy what Door County has to offer in the winter. Soon the trails in Peninsula State Park will be full of snow and open. There you can cross country ski, snow shoe, and explore. Also, many of the shops are still open during the winter. Door County trolley tours continue. A great place to stay is the Open Hearth Lodge. One of our favorite places to eat during the winter is Sister Bay Bowl. We love to go other...

Peninsula State Park in Wisconsin is a destination for many Door County tourists. Julie’s Park Café and Motel is at the doorway to the park in Fish Creek. It is a great stop for breakfast on your way into the park or a meal on your way out. The bike trails begin very close to our restaurant. Feel free to stay parked in our parking lot after your meal so you can save the $money$ on a park sticker. Remember that Peninsula State Park has a lot to offer to visitors including hiking and biking trails, a lookout tower, many beach areas, an outdoor theater and much, much more!
