Biggest work blunder (here or at previous job) I brought the check to the cooks instead of a table. I said "Julie's Park Cafe & Motel" to a table thinking I was answering the phone.



You must love food. What's your favorite meal? Soup & fresh bread, Thai food, steak dinner

How long have you been at Julie’s?

I used to only be at Julie’s part time. I would be here Friday nights. Now they’ve asked me to stay every day. I like it so much better being here full time.

Has it been hard adjusting to being here full time?

Well, the potato salad hasn’t been so nice to me. I think that there is a little competition there.  I’d like to be friends with everyone but it’s not always easy fitting in as the new kid on the block.

What’s your role?

I’m a side dish. Although I still feel I have an important role. I like to think that I complete the meal.

Who are your friends?

The perch and I go way back. We know each other well. He’s been at my side for years.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I’m a people-food. I love making new friends. I hope to meet many more people while I’m at Julie's....

The Door County Half Marathon is Saturday, May 5. Because of the race, we are doing a few special things. We have an All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, May 4. We also have our fish fry and full menu.
On Saturday, May 5, we are opening 30 minutes early. We will be open at 6:29 am!
We are accepting the beer coupons from racers, Hopdinger and The Big O! They are valid Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
